Born and raised a Florida native, Captain Melinda Buckley, AKA Capt Melly B, loves to share her love and knowledge of our local waterways with others.
The Indian River Lagoon and St Lucie River offer a wide variety of species to pull some drag.
Some of the species available in our area include, but are not limited to: Snook, Trout, Redfish, Tarpon, Jacks, Ladyfish, Snapper, Pompano, Flounder, Grouper, and Sharks of all kinds.
The area's wide variety of habitat, like its grass flats and mangrove shorelines also allow great views of nature by boat. On any given day, you can see porpoises, manatees, sea turtles, and numerous types of birds, as we cruise the waterways to our fishing destination.
When conditions allow it, running outside the St. Lucie inlet gives us the opportunity to catch mackeral, kingfish, dolphin(mahi mahi), snapper, sea bass, amber jack, and sailfish.
